How it helps
BetterCare Support was co-designed by six councils and developed by Looking Local as the technical partner. BetterCare Support addresses the need for a digital approach to Care and Support within Adult Social Care to provide efficiencies to both the customers and the council alongside significant financial savings.


What it does
How do the animations work?
The series of engaging animations guides users through the 10 areas of the Care Act and coaxes best quality responses. Individuals are pointed to relevant local and national information, advice and guidance services, even if they’re not eligible for social care and support.

The platform reduces the number of home visits required and unnecessary contact from individuals who don’t meet the eligibility criteria, whilst also giving a more informed view of the individuals needs prior to any further contact – creating compelling efficiency savings.
