Navigator

Coordinated investment planning

Benefits of using Navigator

One source of truth

Capital, energy, finance and executive teams work from one shared plan, replacing disconnected spreadsheets with a single version everyone can trust.

Confident, evidence-backed decisions

Navigator turns your stock and energy data into a clear, costed pathway to your targets, so boards can approve investment with the evidence behind it.

Plans that are always up-to-date

The plan updates as budgets, funding and priorities change, so it stays useful all year rather than going out of date when something changes.

Built around how your team works

Model your own approach, whether worst-performing first or most cost-effective first, and see the instant effect of a budget cut, new funding or a supply constraint.

A defensible audit trail

Every change is logged with a timestamp and user, giving you an evidence trail for board reporting, regulatory returns and funding applications.

Your energy data already in place

Navigator draws on the data you already hold in Sava Intelligent Energy, so there are no new surveys to commission and onboarding is fast.

The challenge

The cost of planning in silos

Most housing providers run capital works and energy improvements as separate programmes, on different systems and timescales. The gaps between them cost money and time, from scaffolding that goes up twice to budgets that fund the same problem from two directions, and they leave compliance questions that take days to answer.

Navigator closes those gaps by planning both together, with the financial and compliance impact of every decision visible as you make it.

Already a Sava Intelligent Energy customer?

Your energy data is already there

Navigator draws directly on the energy performance data held in Sava Intelligent Energy, so there are no new Reduced data Standard Assessment Procedure (RdSAP) surveys to commission.

During onboarding we import your capital works programme and configure your compliance targets, so you begin with a fully populated, live planning environment rather than an empty dashboard.

How it works in practice

Coordination that pays for itself

Navigator surfaces the points where capital and energy works meet. It flags where two budgets are about to fund the same problem, puts a strategic choice such as a replacement boiler against an air source heat pump side by side while there is still time to decide, and aligns works like a roof replacement and solar panels into one visit. The result is a single mobilisation instead of two, across a stock where those savings add up.

Less manual planning

Rules and sequencing built in

Logic rules can apply energy improvements automatically alongside capital works, for example triggering insulation whenever a roof replacement is scheduled. The sequencing engine then works out the best timing for the remaining measures, so compliance targets are met across the whole stock.
